Mercure Events caters for groups of 20, all the way up to 300 guests.
Mercure Events is made up of one large event room, The Platinum Room and one smaller event room, The Silver Room which may be utilised as one entire venue or divided into two event rooms to suit events of various sizes and/or to provide your guests with break out zone/s some time throughout the duration of your event.
The Platinum Room is fully self-contained with it's very own private entrance from Brisbane Street. It is exposed to natural light, with access to a private balcony via a bi-fold door installed in 2016. This room features a built in stage, dance floor, private bar and private bathroom facilities; Ideal for meetings, intimate breakfasts, dinners, cocktail parties and small trade show presentations. The Silver Room may be extended by allowing access to The Silver Room for use as a guest lounge area, suitable for break out zone or when a larger space is required.
The Silver Room is accessible via the main entrance of the hotel. It is exposed to natural light and may be arranged to your liking with guest attendance between 30 to 50 guests with this room used for small meetings, intimate breakfasts, dinners, cocktail parties and small trade show presentations. The Silver Room may be extended by allowing access to The Platinum Room for use as guest lounge area, suitable for breakout zone or when a larger space is required.
